DAY 1: COMFORTABLE DRIVE TO BA BE LAKESIDE BUNGALOW
HIKING TO THE NEIGHBORING TAY VILLAGE AND FISHING
Ba Be Lakeside Express will pick you up at 8:00am – 8:30am from your Hanoi hotel before departing for a nearly 4 hours transfer to Ba Be Lakeside Bungalow resort.
After check-in, you will enjoy the peaceful sceneries of the beautiful mountains and a Ba Be lake view in your balcony. Also, lunch will be provided.
With a prime location, our lodge as located in the residential area of Coc Toc village, where fishing is the livelihood of almost all households living in the village. It will be very flawed if you are not experienced to fish at Ba Be Lake during your journey. In order to start this “offshore” time, the first thing you need to do is practice how to master the kayak movement.
After that, our local guide introduces for the necessary tools in turn for an “effective working”. You will kayak to An Ma Temple. The period of most fish in the year is June – September. After completing the task of setting up the grid, you will have to leave your own symbols to avoid the wrong harvest the next morning.
The trip continues by exploring natural landscapes of Ba Be lake water. Green will definitely be the dominant color throughout your trip. It is not only green by the image of trees; the mountain vegetation reflects on the lake but also by the layer of red algae formed under the lake surface.
At the end of the afternoon trip with kayaking, your dinner will be served at Ba Be Lakeside Bungalow restaurant with local specialties dishes that are extremely attractive.

– Experience of making thick cakes or sparkling cakes of Tay ethnic people

DAY 2: TREKKING BA BE LAKE, VISIT ETHNIC MINORITY VILLAGES
In the morning, you will use kayak boats to collect nets and catch fish then eat breakfast and start the program of useful experience for you to discover the complete beauty of “Green shirt” (Ba Be lake).
For the journey to begin, your tour guide will give a brief introduction about the differences between the ethnic groups living in the area of the lake. Leaving the village behind, they will cross the Pé River by a trail with steep terrain. The challenge starts from there, but if you move higher, the beauty of Ba Be Lake will be clearer in your eyes.
It would be great to bring your camera that day to capture pictures of Ba Be Lake from above – where you can admire the wild beauty. When you go further to the highlands, you will stop in a H’mong ethnic village where you will have a picnic lunch.
Your tour guide will then take you through mountains and valleys to see the Dao’s stilts houses and schools then along the trail to visit another H’mong village.
Afterwards, you will return to Ba Be Lakeside Bungalow for dinner at the Lakeshore restaurant.

DAY 3: EXPLORE THE MOST BEAUTY AREA OF BA BE
BY MOTOR-BOAT AND BACK TO HANOI
After breakfast at Ba Be Lakeside Bungalow, you will travel by motorboat to enjoy a trip on Ba Be Lake. On this motor boat trip, you can expect to go down the Nang River to the poetic Dau Dang waterfall and then to the attractive destination in all three lakes. Such as, Pe Lam, Pe Lu and Pe Le.
During the trip you can relax, explore wild animals or if you need to cool down, you can jump into the cool water for a refreshing swimming! When you float down the Nang River, you can see sceneries of the surrounding rock mountains which are decorated with wild vegetations – they have a variety of interesting creatures. An interesting little thing is don’t forget to listen to the “symphony” gently from the song of many national park birds.
After visiting the waterfall, you will have lunch at Dau Dang. Finally, the last point of the tour with the motorboat is Puong cave – known as the beloved “giant cave” with a length of 300m and a height of 30 meters. This is the result of millions of years of erosion from the flow of the Nang River. The majestic beauty comes overwhelmingly with impressive shooting angles that will not disappoint you when this place is chosen as the final point in your journey.
At 3:50 PM, you will move to the pick-up stop of the Ba Be Lake Local Bus to return to Hanoi in about 4.5 hours, ending the wonderful stay at Ba Be Lakeside Bungalow!
